So here's a lil update of my 29th before I turn in!

Xinying was this month's organizer, she made us wait, we threw her into the sea of jellyfishes hehe! Lucky girl didn't get sting by any of them! Thank you for the planned event, I guessed we had our fun! For the first half of the outing at Sentosa, I hated the sun so much! It was maaad warm and humid. The sand at Palawan isn't as fine as Siloso's which made our feet hurt quite a bit... :'( But nevertheless the good company made up for that humidity and discomfort!

I have friends in overalls whose friendship I would not swap for the favour of the kings of the world.

And hmm I guess I really got quite a lot to catch up. I see the need to watch quite a number of movies!!

Friday's badminton session was just plain awesome. Nothing beats waking up in the morning, brisk walking to the sports complex to play badminton with the people I can never get sick of!! Followed by a nice short lunch before heading home and prepare to meet Jolene and co that evening. Another awesome bunch to be with! Dinner was somewhere at Changi Road, which I never thought it existed in Kembangan. Roamed around Frankel Avenue and my jaws dropped. Wonder how people can afford such HuGe houses. Every house looks more like a mansion, or an exterior design which look somewhat like a church but I'm pretty damn positive they aren't churches. I want houses like that! Settled at a bar with a bucket of five to chill! Nights like these could never be better! Hmm I wonder when is the next time we're gonna meet up again! Soon I hope? :)

I get easily tired these days and God knows why :(

My rashes were so baaad today. Rashes because I am allergy to something unknown :( The heat made it worse so it was like POOF and both my legs had red dots all over! Damnnn gross, and it itched so much, probably ten times worse than chickenpox. Not good at all.

Anyhow, Ikea today. Did I mention I finally settled my craving for meatballs after say, 3 months? Not to mention that I stay only a couple of stops away from Ikea. What contradiction right, I could have took a 5 minute bus ride all these while. I'm lazy like that!

Went to see a doctor for my rash and asked Deanna to accompany me just so that I have a shoulder to lean/cry on when the doctor gives me a jab but oh thank God seriously I have a phobia of needles since I was 8. That day when I was 8, that doctor jabbed my ass and the needle broke right in there because my muscles were too tensed, you see. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Haaaaa I finally got the guts to tell everyone about it!

I used to say "Those were the days..." when I was at my busiest, most stressful moments in school. Those were the days after my O's and before poly started- that was when I got to enjoy myself to the fullest because I was perhaps one of the happiest and carefree girl in the world. Now I dare say I am living such a lifestyle again.

I did practically nothing today. Got out of bed at my own sweet time, lazed around watching Chuck the whole time (Thank you Raj for lending me your hard disk!), drinking cups of mango juice with nata de coco and apple juice with aloe vera bits, had a little nutella, dinnertime, and back to my bed. I think it's just awesome.

Hmm I just wish I can really make use of this holiday or whatever that's left to rest. Today was nothing but plain awesome. Need more rest like that!

Last evening I spent approximately 6 good hours with the girls talking nonsensical stuff over dinner, booked the badminton court at the sports hall, caught up at the central park and hung out at McDonald's since it was too dark. And I found myself home only fifteen minutes to one. Hmm time really flies when we're all having fun right!

Then again, not only did I have fun last night, but this time, I really got to confide to the eight of them. Like really, puked my thoughts out which I have been bottling in me ever since the last time we had such a talk. I am so happy I said everything out and am pretty darn sure what I have said would be safe with them, with their lips locked. I love you all girls...

Got this picture from Fiona. It's pretty random to say this but I really wanna thank all 8 of you for this 6 years of wonderful friendship. And yes, cheers to the many years to come!

And hey Fiona babe, chin up cuz we really wanna help you in one way or another if that's possible but the only thing I figured out is to give you all my support. All of ours in fact. The least I could possibly do now is to keep you in prayers k! Chin up!

So yesterday morning I got my fringe trimmed with Yijia. Thank you, my little bimbotic cousin for accompanying me by having your fringe trimmed too!!
I did something stupid after we got our fringe trimmed and decided to settle down at a coffeeshop nearby for some finger food. K I'm not obliged to tell but yah I'll narrate it to you if you ask!

That evening, yesterday evening, I attended my maternal grandpa's 80th at a Chinese restaurant. Seated on the same table were my mom's two oldest nephews with their newly wedded wives and they were talking about work. Then they gave my mom their name cards and I was surprised and shocked to know that they are such high flyers! The older one barely in his mid thirties was already amongst the board of directors in Citibank. It hit me so damn hard and for the rest of the dinner I was thinking to myself "What have I achieved/been doing for the past few years? What the heck am I doing with my life?"

Correct me if I am wrong, but back then during our grandparents' days, education was a luxury and my grandparents were lucky to be educated in schools. Life was easy as long as they had a little education. Then came my parents' generation. Anyone could study in a university so long as they are financially capable of paying for their own school fees. But even so without a degree, people are still doing well. Now, university admission is so competitive. A Bachelor degree is so common and mediocre. What more to expect in time to come? I went to Korea for a holiday some 4 years back and my tour guide told us that degree holders in Korea are made to work as Environmental Managers. Why do we even see university grads on the streets picking up litter and sweeping the streets of Seoul?

K it's just my view lah. I hope I'm not being a wet blanket but then again, I really hope I can buck up in life by pushing myself a lil more so I get a lil more results. An average kid like me do not really wanna remain average for the rest of my life!

Losing the drive to update this space these days. I must say I have been a little too lazy to do so because removing my tagbox would mean that it's somewhat like a one way communication kinda thing. Not mutual, unlike what you guys used to leave short messages at the bottom right hand side. So like, I feel like I'm talking to myself sometimes!

Anyway if you guys must know why I removed the tagbox, it is because I feel like I shouldn't be putting up my cbox without my very own supervision. I thought I'd be away for like half a month in total out of the whole month due to the HK trip/class chalet/ Bangkok trip so yah I thought I'd just give it a rest. And it kinda saves me the trouble to reply sometimes. Lazy like that, you know. I can't help it either :S

I don't really know how I should be feeling right now, really. Because I shouldn't be in Singapore today. By right. Major disappointment. Angst girl.

Past two days were pretty awesome! Thursday was a day spent a cousins' place playing with Dusty their puppy and I got my nails painted! Got sent home by a friend who drives and I realise it's such a joy sending people home and to be sent home. I shall get my driving licence ASAP!

And yesterday, another lazy day out with Fatz.

Hello Dusty my loserboy!!!

A letter from Uncle Raymond to Dad...

Photobucket

THIS is why we cousins decided to go to town together for some....comfort shopping? Super disappointed but owelloz I guess it's for our own safety aye? I do sound like a mountain tortoise but I haven't been to Bangkok before although it's like one of the nearest countries we can get to apart from Malaysia! Hmm maybe I should think it that way, that I don't have to bear the discomfort and excruciating pain in my ear from due to the air pressure from all that taking offs and landings. Until now I'm still baffled why am I the only one with such a problem. It's like when people are happily enjoying the panoramic view from the skies I scream and get crazy. I throw tantrums. I need lollipops to suck to reduce the huge amounts of pressure. Perhaps my cousins and aunt didn't have to face that side of me.....am I right to say that? :)

Hm spent quite a bomb today. Not to forget the amount of money I spent two days ago when I got my dad his birthday gift. Had to replenish the jar of macadamia nuts so I bought some. Soup spoon and Cold Rock ice cream. Plus all that shopping. Urgh ha ha but it did made us happy like larks!

K at least I had quite a time today.

Happy birthday Dad!!

Photobucket

I know I look so much like my dad here right! Thank you for all the support you've been giving me and I really appreciate it! Best dad ever!

Happy birthday Sir!!

Photobucket

Thank you for being my coach for the past 6 years! Thank you for being one of the few English coaches in Singapore apart from my primary school one because I can never comprehend Chinese coaching well enough!
Note that I said "WELL ENOUGH" to prevent people from shooting that I jiak gang tang kay I will, and promise to shut all of you goons up cuz there won't be any loopholes these time...

Went back to school to celebrate my coach's birthday and to have some fun as well. And also to catch that interesting friendly match which was going back this afternoon! Seriously man what's up with my body these days? I think it has malfunctioned, or probably I'm old, either way that is! But I still think it's the former that makes more sense, if not why so many people older than me are not suffering like the way I am?

Venus and I only ran one round outside St Hilda's and I felt like my back was giving way but I had to stop after one, because I wanted to play later on! Which I eventually did. But on my way home I was THIS close to call for the A&E to send me to the hospital because I felt this....stinging feeling. One of the WORST moments I ever had and I was alone. Dark and alone so I felt like I could do nothing but to drag myself back home. Iced my back immediately. Feeling kinda skeptical about physios these days because they do nothing to me but more harm. The thought of the little electric currents moving round my body with a hell lots of tubes sticking to my body just freaks me out. Numbing the back isn't a long term solution considering that I can only feel better for 20 minutes which isn't even enough to get me home from the hospital. I HATE WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH.

But I had my fun so I call it a day. Hopefully I'll feel slightly better when I get up tomorrow!
