TGIGF (Thank God It's Good Friday) and happy Good Friday y'all!
Woke up a littler earlier than I was supposed to, which was at 7, to have breakfast at BK! It's been so long since I had breakfast at BK!
Met my mates at 9.15 at the interchange with 2 other MJ friends of Brenda's, then we headed down to T-junction and played The Life Race which is a combination of The Game Of Life and The Amazing Race. It was pretty fun! Station 1 was finding our birth cert and identity so it's somewhat like a treasure hunt. Second station was we were all 5 year old kindergarten-ers and we had to recite, sing and dance out the alphabets from the back so it was challenging AT RAFFLES PLACE so passerbys were like o.O
Third station was like we were in primary school and our task was to estimate the length of the bridge near Victoria Concert Hall. Then proceeded to Lim Bo Seng's Memorial Hall. So we were 'teenagers' and chose 2 out of the 4 stations. They dressed me up with the given theme, retro so I looked really dumb. My pictures will be on the website in just a few days' time. Gosh this is so embarrassing! They dressed yang up too!
Lunch time and we went to Marina Square for lunch. Continued with the life race after that and when we were at the last station at suntec, it was raining so heavily. We were required to use chopsticks to separate the red and green beans which was darn hard. And while we were separating the beans, we had to sing one of the pink panther songs 'the pinky and the brain' We were running from suntec to city hall mrt station so we rannnnnnn all the way. City Link was so crowded, we got so many people staring and us and I even heard some of them going 'oh crazy people', 'what the hell', 'are those girls?'. It was damn embarrassing. After we got down from Farrer mrt station we ran under the rain for like 10 mins so we were drenched like we just came out of the swimming pool. We went into the air conditioned T junction drenched for 2 hours and came in in 5th position.
But we totally had fun running in the rain. In fact we ran everywhere we went cuz it was kinda competitive.
Now I'm exhausted.
But I can't stop the 'Pinky and the Brain' tune in my mind...
